The Centers for Disease Control publishes “Learn the Signs. Act Early” resources to track their children’s development and intervene if you have concerns.
You can follow your children’s development against milestones compiled by the CDC for birth through five years. When children experience challenges reaching certain milestones, early intervention is key to maximize outcomes and quality of life.
The CDC resources also include information on activities and interventions to support each child’s development. Note that these resources are intended as a supplement, not a replacement, for standardized, validated developmental screening tools.
