The Community Collaborations to Strengthen and Preserve Families (CCSPF), program establishes an integrated continuum of family support, with community-based services such as mental health and substance misuse treatment, economic supports, home visiting, and educational programs, to prevent child abuse and neglect and ultimately reduce the number of children entering foster care.
The CCSPF program goals are: Reduce children entering foster care, and reduce intake and referrals to child welfare; Increase collaboration across service systems to move towards integration and collective planning; and Drive future service innovations in prevention programing for children and families using data that is unique to each community.
