Legal Assistance and Resource Center (LARC) – Rights as an LGBTQ person in New Hampshire

Know your rights as an LGBTQ person in NH. The Legal Assistance and Resource Center (LARC) is a private, nonprofit law firm that provides free legal services to eligible, low-income people in New Hampshire. Attorneys and paralegals provide legal advice by telephone in the areas of civil law listed below. Clients’ information is kept confidential. In addition to legal support on many family topics, LARC offers information for the LGBTQ community related to:

  • Discrimination
  • Parenting
  • Healthcare
  • HIV/AIDS
  • Transgender Rights
  • LGBTQ Youth

LARC receives support from the federal government and provide services to clients with incomes and assets below levels which are set by Congress and tied to federal poverty guidelines. They cannot provide services to people who are incarcerated.
